Dear fellow members,
I’m thrilled to take on the role of BMAC Social Coordinator, aiming to boost morale and foster camaraderie within our diplomatic community. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, strict measures in our host nation have prevented us from hosting social functions, causing us to miss out on activities that strengthen our sense of unity. Many of our colleagues departed without proper farewells or the chance to experience our traditional formal Gala over the past two years. My goal is to change that. I’m on a mission to revive BMAC traditions and culture by creatively organizing diverse events and activities that cater to the varied interests of our esteemed members. Moreover, I aim to involve our families and children, recognizing their vital support in our military lifestyle.
Our social calendar will encompass formal dinners, casual gatherings, recreational outings, and more. Collaborating with the BMAC Sports Coordinator, I seek to create opportunities for relaxation, fun, and networking among our dedicated personnel.
The saying goes, “If we are not with the ones we love, then we love the ones we are with.” For us here in Beijing, China, BMAC is our family. I aim to draw BMAC members closer together, supporting one another during our time here and nurturing lifelong friendships.
I invite you to share your ideas and suggestions for activities that will contribute to a positive and unified environment within our unit. Your input is invaluable as we work towards building a vibrant and inclusive social program.
Stay tuned for announcements about upcoming events and initiatives. I am committed to ensuring that our social activities maintain the highest standards of professionalism while reflecting the unique spirit of our unit.
I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to serve and collaborate with each of you, contributing to the overall well-being and unity of our military community.
Semper Fidelis,
Johnny Kieu
